Everett Golf and Country Club Bridal Tasting

I've said before that I am OBSESSED with weddings and as a kid I loved to play dress up. I'm talking white pillow case as a veil marrying my stuff animals kind of thing.  Now I am so lucky to have a job where I can play dress up on a big scale...Like an entire mock wedding big!

Last week I had the privilege of dressing up the Everett Golf and Country club for their first annual bridal tasting. We styled the turn of the 21st century club with some antiques from the 20's and 30's along with some clean lined linens and intense pink lighting... Not to mention the most oober modern chic cake that I have ever seen! It was such a blast and the staff there is so wonderful. We had an awesome team that contributed many talents, services, and goodies.

Speaking of Pinterest...

Pinterest (as defined by Wikipedia):  is a pinboard-styled social photo sharing website. The service allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections. The site's mission statement is to "connect everyone in the world through the 'things' they find interesting."

For me Pinterest is a bit of an obsession...To say the least! But it is also very practical when it comes to streamlining thoughts and ideas for an upcoming event, like say, a wedding!

So now that you've gotten the hang of pinning, repinning, liking, etc... What do you do with all of these fantastic finds?! You could spend your time researching and re-researching for qualified vendors or you could hire an experienced and well connected wedding coordinator to help pull all of the ideas together!

Here are a few neat little things that I have found while being in my own little Pinterest world:

Pin Pin Pin!!!

The other day I was trying to think of something interesting to blog about...Then I started to "Pin" some stuff on my latest obsession...PINTEREST! I found an adorable craft (among MANY others) so I decided that I was going to put my spin on it and attempt making it for upcoming Valentines Day... Well, it worked and they actually turned out!

VOILA! A super easy and economical gift for a grandparent, teacher, friend...Whoever! I just used a terra cotta pot and base, wooden balls & heart decorations, acrylic paint, hot glue gun, and a glass bulb vase with some ribbon to decorate!
